A few weeks ago my sisters, Dort and Nora, organized a holiday gift giving and craft night for the ladies at their church. Every 30 minutes the ladies would visit one of three stations which were each set up with easy homemade gift ideas. Two of them were make-n-take stations and the third was a recipe demo by my sisters. It was a fun night out and I promised the ladies I would share a lil’ something I created for my sisters’ demo on Oink! So, let’s get started on our next installment of…
Let’s see what “The TwELF Days of Christmas” bag says today…

My sisters’ showed how to make this yummy Marshmallow Cocoa Mix in a Mason Jar. It needed a “how-to make this” tag so I designed these lil’ Mason jar tags for them. {Psst! I even drew the Mason jar myself without any help from J!}
I’ve included the recipe for making the jar mix below and it’s also included on the second page of the Marshmallow Cocoa Mix Tag PDF file. The “Marshmallow Cocoa Mix in a Quart Jar” recipe is from the book, Mixes for Cocoas, Teas, and Cappuccinos: Drink Mixes Layered in Jars for Gifts by Jackie Gannaway. You can purchase the book here.
A few years ago I gave Mason jar mixes as gifts to our friends and vendors. They loved them so much that a few of them gave us back the empty jars in case we wanted to give them the same gift the next year! I love giving homemade gifts and people truly appreciate and feel the love that goes into them!
I hope you’re inspired to make a homemade gift for someone you love!
