Put on your apron and grab a spatula because it’s…
I’m always on the lookout for recipes that are easy to make, only take a few ingredients and make people say, “WoW!” We will be photographing our new “Monkeying Around” Collection this weekend and I wanted to feature a few banana-themed foods on the buffet. I thought mini banana cream pies would be perfect for our {inspiration} party but I didn’t want to spend a lot of time making them since it was for a product shoot. Here’s the recipe I made up with a lil’ inspiration from Jello…
Ingredients:
-
Pudding (Pre-made or Instant)
-
Whipped Topping
-
Mini Graham Cracker Crusts
-
(Optional) Embellishments
The local grocery store was out of pre-made banana pudding and I didn’t have time to make my own so I substituted vanilla pudding for the shoot. (Ssh! Don’t tell anyone!)
1. Add equal amounts of pudding and whipped topping to a bowl. Fold until they are completely mixed but don’t take all the fluff away!
2. Spoon the mixture into your mini graham cracker crusts.
3. Make a nice swirl with the back of your spoon.
4. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour if you want a pie-like consistency. If you like “Puddin’-in-a-Cloud,” eat it right away!
(Optional) Embellish with your favorite topping. I added a lil’ whipped topping to prop up a banana chip.
Ta-Da! An adorable lil’ dessert in no time. Try different flavors of pudding—chocolate fudge, lemon or Oreo—to create your favorite mini cream pie. I hope you’re inspired to create a special lil’ treat for any occasion!
