A fresh new week means it’s…
This week I thought we’d take a lil’ inspiration from the parties and recipes y’all LINKed up last week. Each day this week will be focused on a different theme—Tea Party, Fiesta, Luau, Winter, Pancakes-n-Pajamas, Football and Valentine’s Day. If you have a great theme party, be sure to LINK it up this week here.
Today you are cordially invited to our Tea Party!
It’s doesn’t matter what time of year it is…it’s always time for tea! Our Mad Hatter Invitation has been our most popular invitation year round for two years which means you love a tea party, too! I love that you can celebrate so many occasions with a tea party—birthdays, babies, brides or just because.
I love how Mariah re-purposed a dresser for her buffet. The curvy lines added a touch of elegance and the drawers were the perfect height for lil’ guests. We had fun working with Mariah on the paper elements for this lil’ playdate. Read all of the “sweet as honey” details here.
Christie created this vintage-inspired tea party for her two-year old daughter and her friends. Instead of tea, she served sparkling lemonade in upcycled coffee drink bottles embellished with paper doilies and labels. A paper straw with a lil’ flag is always a fun addition to any drink! Read all of the dainty details here.
When decorating for a tea party, you can be traditional with floral and lace patterns like we did with our Shabby Chic Collection.
Click here for all the details.
Maybe you’d prefer to create a more whimsical event like our Mad Hatter Brunch.
Try serving a few non-traditional items like donuts and lollipops…
Of course, traditional items like honey for your tea…
…or tea biscuits (aka cookies) are perfect for any occasion!
Be sure to send home your guests with a lil’ favor. We wrapped up a couple of biscuits, attached a tag and added two tea bags to our Tea Cup Favor Boxes for a lil’ tea party to go!
Thank you for joining us for a lil’ tea party today! I’ll be creating a Pinterest board which will include all of these ideas and more later this week. If you have any great suggestions or links, please leave us a comment. We’d love to see more tea parties and hear more ideas!
I hope you’re inspired to have a spot of tea today. Cheerio!
