Even though it’s been unseasonably warm so far this year, I’ve had snow on the brain! It may be because we just redesigned our Winter Wonderland Collection {coming soon} but it’s more likely our love affair with snow. Crazy? Maybe…but there’s nothing like looking out your window and seeing the sun sparkle off the drifts of snow or taking a drive along a road where icicles are glistening in the moonlight. What about watching large snowflakes float from the heavens and pile on the lawn furniture creating enchanted vignettes? Snow is magical.
I thought I would share a few ideas for a fun playdate using some of our free printables and a lil’ snack recipe! The inspiration for this lil’ idea came from a prospective client who asked if we could change the colors of our Winter Wonderland Banner from blue to pink. I thought it was a fun idea to change up the wintry blue and then I found a fun “pink” recipe this morning and I was hooked!
Décor: Remember our Zero-budget REE-launch Party full of free printables? Use only the pink pages to decorate with so you have a Pink and White palette for the playdate.
Snack: A fun treat for this Pink Wonderland Playdate is this recipe from Cooking Classy for Old Fashioned Pink Popcorn.

Doesn’t it remind you of fluffy pink snowballs? If you love a cupcake, make a white one and top with sprinkles or coconut!
Drinks: I LoVe milk with sweets! Offer Strawberry milk in addition to traditional white and serve in a pinked-out version of these adorable snowmen by Chris of Celebrations at Home.

Activities: During the winter, I think it’s important to have activities where kids are not sitting down all the time. Why not make a snowpeople version of Penguin Bowling?

Who wouldn’t like the idea of Snow Bowling?!?
I hope you’re inspired to create a lil’ playdate in honor of SnoW!
Since pink is my favorite color I love this theme!
