Teachers hold a special place in my bacon-flavored heart. My mom and big sis were teachers. I was a teacher. Our family friends were teachers. Our extended family is filled with teachers. Needless to say, I think they’re pretty special and I’ll take any opportunity I can to thank them!
Today’s Teacher Appreciation gift idea uses a few things you probably have around the house—a printer, scissors, adhesive and a lunch sack!
I printed out all of our FREE Thank You Note Sets available here. The cards were printed on cardstock and the envelopes on paper.
Then stacked and bundled them with a red ribbon.
I chose a simple brown paper lunch sack as my gift bag. After placing the bundle inside, I folded over the top of the sack and trimmed off the excess bag with decorative scissors. Then punched two holes, tied it closed with coordinating ribbon, added my favorite teacher’s name (my mom) to the “I Appreciate You” Tag and attached it to the bag.
A thoughtful way to say, “I appreciate you. I appreciate you. I appreciate you.”
Leave a comment and tell us how you’re celebrating the teachers who are important to you!
I hope you’re inspired to tell someone how much you appreciate them today!
