easy and creative backdrops

Rustle up your craft supplies and load your glue guns ‘cuz it’s…

I’ve had a blast this week on Oink! I have been so inspired by all of the parties, recipes and crafts that our FaNs have linked up. Over the last year, I haven’t had nor made the time to read many blogs. Hosting this lil’ link party has forced me to carve out time in my day to sit down and read a few posts…and it has been just what I needed! Y’all are A.Ma.Zing!

Today I’m sharin’ a few creative backdrops that are easy on your pocketbook. The first one is from Melissa of My Party Passion

Isn’t it the perfect backdrop for her Woodland Fairy Party which you can see here? Nature is one of my favorite backdrops and the most economical. You can also bring it indoors like Mayra of In Flight did here

For her Vintage Valentine Blush display seen here, Mayra attached ribbon to a birch branch for a beautifully unique backdrop!

Besides nature, another inexpensive backdrop can be created using a piece of furniture you own. Audrey of Sweet Cheeks Tasty Treats did this brilliantly here

Audrey used pom pom garland, stockings, lil’ scarves, mini clothespins and fabric to dress up her Magic Elf Adoption Center display. Read all of the adorable details about this party here. Be ready to, “Ooh” and “Aah” ‘cuz Audrey’s a rock star!

I love using crepe paper streamers to create backdrops like this one here

…or dress them up like this one here!

I can’t wait to try this one Marie of  Marie Thomas Designs shared…

It’s made with sheets of crepe paper versus streamers. I love seeing “old school” craft products used in new and innovative ways! Pop over to see this inventive Gender Reveal Party created by Marie here.

Don’t forget to link up to this week’s Pork LINK Party here. Maybe I’ll feature YOU next week!

I hope you’re inspired create a unique backdrop on a budget!

  1. Eeek! Thanks SO much for including our Elf Party in this fun round-up! I use our furniture a LOT…seems easiest to work with what we already have sometimes :) Love the other ideas too…tons of inspiration!
