We’re looking forward to celebrating Easter this weekend with my family. In Michigan, we never know if it will be sunny or snowy, but we always look forward to celebrating the start of spring!
In honor of our celebration, I wanted to create a homemade garland. I sat down with my recent obsession…YARN and here’s what I came up with…
I’m so excited with the way it turned out! After you make the first carrot, they get easier and faster to make. I designed, made and photographed the tutorial all within 2 hours. Perfect for a last minute craft project and easy enough for your kids to help with!
It’s also very affordable. If you buy the yarn, it will cost around $8.00 without a coupon or discounted. You can make bunches and bunches of carrots though. In the “Supplies” photo at the beginning of this tutorial, it shows what was leftover after I had made the the entire garland. Almost a full skein of each.
I hope you’re inspired to celebrate!
