{inspiration party} the love rocks collection

| | | |

There has been a lot of discussion between party chicks this week regarding real parties versus staged and styled faux parties. I am a real party girl all the way…but I have to stage and style faux parties to showcase our products. With that in mind, I want to be clear when I feature parties on Oink! If it’s a real party, you will see {real party} and if it’s a faux party….you’ll see {inspiration party}. Instead of saying faux party I decided inspiration party was better since I design the faux parties to inspire you, our faithful followers!

With that in mind, I’d like to introduce our newest {inspiration party} featuring our newest addition to The Market

The Love Rocks Collection was inspired by a collaboration with Natalie of Southern Belle’s Charm, a concept drawing by Paula of Frog Prince Paperie and the lack of age appropriate partyware available for the Tween scene. J and I decided to venture into new design territory and live on the edge! We were inspired by tattoo artists and clothing designer Ed Hardy to create a collection that lives on the edge and really ROCKS!

Are you ready to party? First, send an invitation…

Add your own text to our Fill-in Invitation using Acrobat Reader.

When party day arrives, greet your guests at the “Backstage Entrance” with a “By Invitation Only” Welcome Sign

Time to decorate an edgy sweets table…

To create a stunning backdrop, attach a piece of sparkly black paper along with two shades of ribbon to a piece of black foam core. Attach the giant heart from the Scrapbook Paper and the “Love Rocks” Banner with pop-up adhesive dots.

To display the food, attach Scrapbook Paper to your servingware…

…or attach to a box top to display unique treats…

Adorn with Tini Banners

Everything else we used were leftovers from previous parties or treasures we found around the house! I love to bake treats for the parties we host but my recent schedule hasn’t allowed me to do so. My lack of free time challenged me to come up with Rockin’ treats for this party inspiration. I headed to the grocery section at my local Target and found all of the sweet treats you see. One stop. Easy. Affordable. Delicious.

I hope you’re inspired to make Valentine’s Day a special “treat” for your loved ones!
