Below are the most commonly asked questions from our clients who order from The Market!


How does the order process work?
Once your order is placed and payment has been received, we will personalize any custom items and forward a PDF proof within 2 business days (Monday-Friday). Once the proof is approved or if you ordered non-personalized items, a PDF file will be emailed to you within 1 business day (Monday-Friday) after receiving your approval.

Once you receive the items you ordered, you can print directly from the PDF file or download the PDF file to your computer or a flash drive. Instructions will be included on the PDF file for printing at home or you can send it to your local print shop. Once the files are printed, you are ready to assemble.

What is the order turnaround time?
Non-personalized orders: 1 business day (Monday-Friday)
Personalized orders: 3 business days (Monday-Friday; dependent on proof approval)
Custom orders: 2-4 weeks (dependent on availability)

Can I place a custom order?
Custom orders are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on our art department’s availability, the type of custom design requested and the volume of custom orders we currently have open. Please contact us and include specific details–artwork requested, deadline, etc.

Will I receive a proof?
We provide proofs for most of our personalized items to ensure that your order is correct. The price of the personalized item includes 1 initial proof with 2 rounds of edits. Additional proofs after the 2 rounds of edits will incur an additional fee per proof.

Can I see a proof before I place my order?
No. Proofs are sent after your order is placed and payment has been received.

Can I edit the items I ordered after I receive them?
No. All of our products and artwork are copyrighted and cannot be altered except through Piggy Bank Parties. We do offer pre-designed “fill-in” items that you can personalize at home but the font, font colors and font sizes cannot be change. Please see the item description for specific details.

What if I need to make a changes to my order after I have approved it?
Any changes made after approving the proof will incur additional fees.

How do I know what file type to choose for my invitations?
All of our products are sent as PDF files which can be printed at home or a print shop. Our files are formatted to print on 8.5″×11″ paper. If you are sending your order to a photo lab for printing, please request a JPEG file when placing your order.

Do you offer printing and assembly services?
We do offer these services on a limited basis dependent on our availability. If you would like to inquire about these services, please contact us and include the quantity of each item you would like to order as well as your deadline. We will then provide you with a quote for these services if we have availability.

Can you customize the colors of a product I purchase?
In most instance we can. A custom color change fee will be applied and the price will depend on the changes requested. Please contact us prior to purchasing an item and include the details of your request. We will then provide you with a quote if we are able to make the changes.

Can I place a rush order for my party tomorrow?
We try to accommodate these requests as much as possible. We suggest contacting us prior to ordering to see if we are able to accommodate your request. Rush Service is only available only on our existing designs not on custom orders.

If I place my order on Friday night, when will I receive my order?
If payment has been received, you will receive a proof for personalized items no later than Tuesday. Paid order with all non-personalized items will be shipped no later than Monday.

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday. If you place your order after 5:00 p.m. CST on Friday or on a non-business days (Saturday, Sunday and US Holidays), your order will not be processed until Monday.

Will you ship anything to me?
Not unless you purchase printing and assembly services. All printable items are sent via email so no items will be shipped to you.


What is the best type of paper to use for your products?
Heavyweight bright white cardstock or heavyweight matte photo paper.

Can I print on colored paper?
You can but make sure it won’t interfere with the legibility of the design.

Where do you purchase labels?
Labels are available from your local office supply store or online. Visit the Print and Such section of our Vendor Directory.


What type of printer do you use?
We suggest using an inkjet printer for home printing.

Should I print these myself or send them to a printer?
The choice is yours. You can always test print at home. If you’re not happy with the finished product then send it to your local print shop or office supply store.

Can I enlarge the Welcome Sign to poster size?
You can but the artwork will not print out at a high quality. All of our products are formatted to print on 8.5″ x 11″ paper. The files are copyrighted and secured to prevent copyright infringement of our products. If you would like for us to enlarge the artwork file for you, please contact us prior to ordering and include the requested size. We will forward you a quote for the Resizing Fee.

The colors look different on paper than they do on the computer screen. Can you adjust the colors?
Colors may vary between your monitor and printer. Since the colors on our standard files do not change, it may be a printer issue. We recommend checking the ink cartridges or adjusting the printer settings. Generally, this solves the problem. If you still need the colors changed, there is a custom color change fee.

How do I add text to the “fill-in” party cards or menu?
Once you open the PDF file in Adobe Reader {a free download}, you will see blue-ish grey boxes. Click on one of the boxes and when the cursor appears, type in your text. The font, font colors and font sizes have already been set up for you. Be prepared to print since you cannot save the files with your text included.


What type of punch do I use for the Cake Stakes?
We suggest using a 2″ circle punch, 2″ scalloped circle punch or corner punch. Punches are available at your local craft store or online.

Where can I get a larger circle cutter?
Visit your local craft store or online. A great tool is a good investment!

How do I make the Cake Stakes into cupcake toppers?
Once you have cut out the Cake Stakes in the shape you desire, attach each one to a lollipop stick or wooden food pick using adhesive dots, adhesive or double-stick tape. The sticks, picks and adhesives are available at your local craft stores or online. We like to finish off the back of the cupcake topper with a coordinating piece of cardstock or a white label.

Can a non-crafter assemble these items?
Yes! We work hard to create simple and easy designs using a minimal amount of tools. It’s amazing what you can create with scissors, tape and a lil’ bit of ribbon or string!


Do you keep regular business hours?
Yes. Order are processed and shipped Monday through Friday. We are closed weekends and US Federal Holidays. Orders may be placed 24/7, however, they will be processed the next business day.

As small business owners, we work longer hours than most because we love this business. We do, however, need time off to recharge, refocus and be inspired!
